Eine wichtige Zentrale ist die Amygdala. Sie sitzt im Gehirn des Hundes und ist unter anderem die Chefin über Stresshormone und entscheidet darüber, wann der Hund sich in den \"Kampf- oder Fluchtmodus\" begeben soll. Dazu erhält sie beispielsweise Informationen der Sinnesorgane wie Augen, Nase oder Haut und bewertet diese dann. Und zwar nicht mit einer hochkomplexen, digitalen App, sondern schlicht und einfach mit Gefühlen. Angst oder auch andere Emotionen wie Wut und Traurigkeit entsteht.
